Claudia: make up and hair Nr.1

I made 7 different designs for my Claudia character. I know that didn't have to do that many but I had a few ideas and in the end it was good to have a broader choice.

First Design:

The first design is a half and half look because I wanted to show the two sides of Claudia's character. On the one side(the left half) she looks pale and sick looking which makes you think that she is a very fragile person, which she is not:) Because she is Agoraphobic she tends to not leave the house which results in lack of Vitamin d , which makes her look paler than others.

The other side (right side) is supposed to reflect the evil in side of her. After she was abandoned by her parents when she was still very young a lot of pain and hatred build up inside of her which created her evil alter ego. I wanted to show the evil side as a cracked creepy doll. Because even though dolls are being loved by a lot of people and seem to look pure and innocent they can also look quite creepy and as if they would become alive any second( of course that depends on the doll you have but my great grandmother used to have really realistic looking dolls which were quite creepy! I don't trust dolls :) Haha^^)

The Makeup:

As for the makeup. For the left side I just wanted to create some dark shadows underneath her eye and hollow cheekbones to create this sick look. The overall look is supposed to be very pale. For the right side I would first block out the eyebrows to create a bigger space for the eyes. I wanted to create those bigger 'dolls eyes'.For the bigger eyes I would also apply false eyelashes around 1-2 cm underneath the eye-gives more space as well. For the eye shadow I used different pink and purple tones because I want to keep the look quite girly. And at the end I would also apply some false eyelashes on the top lashes. The base is generally quite pale and porcelain looking.  To create those kind of outstanding cheeks I would go in with a grey tone and create this round shape under the actual cheek area. In the eye and cheek area I would add some cracks, this is supposed to show that she is not 'innocent' anymore. For the mouth I only applied the lipstick until the middle because there are two looks. I made the lips a big bigger and then draw this line those creepy ventriloquist's puppets/dummy's have. Just to make her a bit more creepy looking.

 Also before applying the eye shadow I would draw on new eyebrows. The new ones are very thin and longer than before. 

The Hairstyle:

For the hairstyle I thought I keep it more simple. So I decided to do kind of messy hair in the left side which would underline the sick look and that she is not looking after herself properly. On the right side I wanted to do braid coming down from the top to make it more girlish looking. To underline it I would ass some ribbons or bows.
