Charles Dickens Museum

The Charles Dickens Museum is located in the London Borough of Camden, 48 Doughty Street,London WC1N 2LX.
Charles Dickens lived there with his family for two years from 1837-1839.

And that's me in front of it :)

I went to the Charles Dickens museum because I thought it could be of help for my research, but it wasn't really:)
But that's okay because I always liked reading his stories so it was still very interesting to see where and how he lived for a few years.
The house consist of the basement, ground floor, first, second and third floor.
On the ground floor you can also find the museum's shop and a café.
One thing I noticed was that he definitely had a lot of books all over his house^^!
Also the house is really big. Before I went in I thought it would be just the one half, like everyone has now but I think the two half were connected. So yes there were a lot of rooms but they were all very nicely decorated and the beds were so cute and smaller than ours nowadays.

A quick overview and details to the rooms.

As I already said it wasn't really helpful for my character research but I would still recommend to go and see it, just because it looks really nice and cozy and just interesting to know how they lived
